ATOM Metallic Gold

A metallic acrylic paint from the ATOM range in a gold metal tone with a pronounced metallic sheen. The paint is water-thinnable and almost odorless, yet it covers well, flows by itself and dries quickly. The very fine metal pigment gives a smooth gold surface. The package is a resealable bottle of 20 ml.

Use

  • It is applied by brush or airbrush, ideally onto a smooth, even base.
  • It is thinned with water or with the acrylic thinner from the same manufacturer.
  • The metallic pigment settles at the bottom, so stir the paint thoroughly before and during work.
  • Leave metallic areas until last, as they are harder to overspray and to mask.

Suitable for picking out metal and decorative elements with a gold sheen on models and figures.

Shake well before use. Work in a ventilated area and keep out of the reach of children.

FAQ

The metal pigment sinks to the bottom; without stirring the gold effect would be uneven.

It is a water-thinnable acrylic; it can be thinned with water or with the manufacturer's acrylic thinner.

Ideally a smooth, even base, and at the end of the build.
