A camouflage green shade from the 3rd Generation subrange, which the manufacturer aims at models of military vehicles. It is a water-based acrylic in a bottle. The designation in the name refers to the national camouflage green as the manufacturer lists it; compare the exact historical placement and the match with the real finish against period source material. In practice it is a muted green shifted toward earth, that is, a shade that in scale does not behave like a saturated green from the tube but stays in the tones that camouflage has in the field.
The paint can be thinned with either, but they are not interchangeable paths. Water thins the paint and the binder at the same time: the more of it you add, the weaker the bond of the coat to the surface, which only shows later — during masking, handling or a light rub down. The acrylic thinner of the same range is formulated to reduce the consistency without the same loss of cohesion, and it usually slows drying on the nozzle a little as well. A sensible compromise is to thin with water where it is a matter of a few drops on a brush, and to use the thinner of the range everywhere you thin the paint considerably or where the coat has to last. Mixing the two in one cup is neither necessary nor desirable — pick one and stay with it for the whole time you work on the model.
