This set is built as the starting equipment of a workshop, not as an accessory for one model. It holds 68 shades of the Model Air line and four auxiliary products with them, that is 72 bottles altogether. The makeup is not random: it covers the green and brown tones of aircraft camouflage, the whole range of grays from light to anthracite, desert sand shades, metallic colors and the basic white, black and signal red.
The paints of this line are thinned from the maker so that they can be poured into the cup of an airbrush with no further work. That saves time and nerves, because guessing at the ratio of thinner falls away. A finer pigment means weaker coverage in one layer, which is rather an advantage in spraying: the layers can be built up gradually and the transitions between camouflage fields stay soft.
Besides the shades the package also holds three varnishes, that is gloss, matte and satin, and a thinner intended for the cup of an airbrush. With that the consistency can be adjusted or the nozzle rinsed after work. Thanks to that a builder manages with one package from primer to final varnish and does not have to buy anything else during a build.
