A modeling paint in the Beige shade from the Orange Line range by Hataka, intended for plastic models and accessories.
Responsibility details are not available.
Beige is a light beige shade from the Orange Line range by Hataka. The shades of this range are used for painting plastic models and accessories, most often with an airbrush. Light opaque shades of this kind suit areas that are meant to look bright on a finished model, and also serve as a base for later shading and dirtying.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before every use, so that the settled pigments are mixed back in. The thinner made for this range and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer on the packaging; follow those instructions, because every paint range has its own chemistry and a swapped thinner only shows up on the model. Apply the paint in several thin coats and let the surface set between them. A heavy coat covers the fine surface relief and dries less well.
On a well-prepared and primed surface the shade holds more evenly than straight on bare plastic, especially where plastic meets filler or parts of another material. Always test a new shade on an offcut from the kit, so that you know how it covers and how it dries. Light shades tend to cover less well, so count on more coats. Close the bottle carefully after work and wipe the neck, otherwise the cap will dry shut. Test mixing with paints of other ranges on a piece of plastic beforehand.
The paint is intended for modelers who build to a particular real subject and need a light beige shade, whether for the surfaces of a model or for accessories and figures.
The thinner, varnish and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
