A pair of replaceable blades with a U-shaped edge, that is, with a curved profile. Unlike a V chisel it does not cut a wedge-shaped groove with a sharp bottom but a rounded channel. It is used with the large modeling handles of the same series, where the pressure is led along the axis of the tool.
A curved chisel suits modelers who shape terrain and need soft, rounded transitions. In a trio with the straight chisel and the V profile it covers most of the ordinary carving operations in a modeling workshop. We recommend working with several shallow strokes and securing the material firmly.
The blades are very sharp. Always cut away from the body, secure the workpiece and put used blades into a closed container. Keep out of the reach of children.
