Ceramic Grease HG is a lubricating grease from the Japanese brand Tamiya in a package weighing 10 g. It is neither a paint nor a glue and it does not belong on the visible surfaces of a model; it is a purely functional lubricant for places where something turns, slides or rubs. The grease is thick, so it stays where it is put and does not run, and it is applied in a very thin layer.
The grease is applied in really small doses, ideally with a toothpick or the tip of a thin tool. More lubricant does not mean better running: the excess spreads, catches dust and then makes greasy marks on the model. First clear the dirt off the place to be lubricated, apply a thin layer and wipe the excess away. Keep the grease away from painted surfaces and from decals, because grease is removed from them only with difficulty.
It will be appreciated by builders of moving models, of mechanical sets and of every structure with gearing, and also by modelers who keep their tools running. A 10 g package lasts a very long time with sensible dosing.
Safety: keep out of the reach of children, avoid contact with the eyes and wash your hands after work. The preparation is not meant to be eaten nor to be applied to the skin.
