The Lifecolor CS37 set brings together shades chosen for models connected with the Imperial Japanese Navy of the Second World War period. The number two in the name tells the second set of this focus apart, so the two ranges follow on from and complement one another. The particular shades, their designations and the recommended use are given on the packaging and in the manufacturer's information.
The paints are put together on purpose: the shades match one another and a modeler does not have to assemble a combination bottle by bottle and watch that the tones go together. With one subject it is then easier to keep a consistent character across a whole collection, because the next model comes from the same palette as well.
Mix the contents of the bottle thoroughly before use, as settled pigment will otherwise show in the shade. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, as a different thinner can curdle the paint. Spray several thin coats rather than one heavy one, or the fine detail of the surface will disappear.
Wash and degrease the base before painting; on smooth surfaces a base color will help. Overcoat the finished paintwork with varnish according to the gloss you want to reach, and then close the bottles well and store them cool and out of the reach of children.
