DakkaDakka - Kill Obsessed Squad - Khorne Axes 1:48

DakkaDakka - Kill Obsessed Squad - Khorne Axes 1:48

This is a modeling accessory for figures from the DakkaDakka range by Green Stuff World, specifically accessory weapons of the axe type from the Kill Obsessed Squad sub-range. It is not a figure and not a standalone model but small parts with which the armament of figures is varied. The sub-range is pitched in a fantasy and science-fiction style; the name of the sub-range is the manufacturer's designation in the original wording.

What the accessory is for

Armament is the detail by which games tell apart the roles of the individual pieces in a unit. When a whole group has identical parts it is hard to keep track of, and on the table there is no telling who is who. Swapping a small part solves that quickly and without touching the rest of the character. These are also parts with a strong silhouette, so they work well on display-case figures too, where they round out the composition. The DakkaDakka range is divided up by part, so they can be combined with parts from the other sub-ranges.

What to look at before buying

• Accessories with a strong silhouette enlarge the footprint of a figure; reckon with that for gaming formations.
• Judge compatibility with a particular figure from the dimensions given by the manufacturer.
• The number of pieces in the package and the material are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
• The 1:48 figure is the manufacturer's designation for the whole DakkaDakka range.
• Further accessory parts are issued in the same sub-range.

Who the accessory is for

For tabletop players who need to tell the roles of figures in a unit apart at a glance, and for modelers looking for striking small parts for conversions. It also suits varying figures whose original parts repeat.

This is an accessory for figures, not a standalone model. The look and the division of the parts differ between the individual DakkaDakka sub-ranges.
