About product

Dark Shadow Flesh - AK 3rd Generation acrylic, 17 ml

A water-thinnable acrylic paint for modelers in a bottle of 17 ml. Dark Shadow Flesh is the darkest flesh shadow tone in the set of skin shades. It is used in the deepest folds and transitions of the face and hands, where marked contrast is needed. Compared with the ordinary shadow flesh shade it is noticeably darker, so it gives the modeling of skin depth and expression.

Use

  • It is thinned with water or with the acrylic thinner of the same line, for fine glazing with a brush.
  • It is applied into the deepest shadows of the skin and into sharp transitions.
  • Use it sparingly so that the shadows do not look dirty; layer it in thin glazes.
  • Combine it with the shadow and the base flesh shade for a smooth transition.

Who it is for

For more advanced figure painters who work with marked modeling of skin and deep contrasts.

Keep out of the reach of children. Shake the bottle before use. Work in a ventilated area; wash the tools with water before the paint dries.
