Responsibility details are not available.
A single drill bit of 1.0 millimeter diameter from the L-10 line by the Japanese maker Mineshima. The L-10 line covers modeling diameters from about two tenths of a millimeter upward and is sold singly, so you can replace exactly the size that has run out or broken. The bit is intended above all for hand work in a pin vise.
A diameter of one millimeter is a general-purpose size on a kit. With it you can drill a hole for a copper wire run, a pin to join two parts, an antenna mount, an opening for a machine gun barrel or a suggestion of a vent. It is also used when preparing the pins on which a figure sits in a stand.
Drill slowly and without pressure. Thin bits do not break from overload but from sideways bending, so hold the pin vise perpendicular to the surface and do not lever it sideways. Mark the spot beforehand with the tip of a needle so that the bit does not skate. In hard plastic and in resin work in stages and clear the chips out of the hole. In a powered mini drill keep the speed low, or the plastic will melt and ball up on the cutting edge. Remove the burr from the hole afterwards with the tip of a scalpel turned against the edge.
