A Hataka modeling paint from the Orange Line range, the Dunkelgelb shade according to the period RAL 840R register, number 7028, in the 1944 edition.
Responsibility details are not available.
The shade Dunkelgelb, that is, dark yellow, is the base color of German ground vehicles in the last part of the Second World War. This item gives it according to the period RAL 840R register under number 7028 and in the edition of 1944, and that detail matters: the tone shifted during the war and the year of the edition tells you which period it matches.
Dunkelgelb served as a base onto which green and brown patches were only then sprayed, so on a model it is usually laid over the whole area of the vehicle and part of it stays visible. That is exactly why it pays to plan the shade in advance: where it is to show through from under the camouflage, where you lighten it for the scale effect and where you let it be muted by dust and deposits. The paint also suits figures and equipment, where the same tone appears on crates and on containers.
The package contains the paint alone. The thinner, brushes, varnishes and kits are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
