Ten grass strips from the German maker HEKI, one hundred millimeters long, with growth five to six millimeters high, in a summer shade. The summer tone is more saturated than the spring one and matches grass in full season, so this is the most general-purpose variant in the whole range. The strip on its own solves the task for which an individual tuft is too small and a whole mat needlessly large: a continuous grassy line along a lane, a fence or a track.
The strips are not self-adhesive; they are fixed with modeling glue, ideally a flock adhesive or PVA glue. Apply a thin line of glue and lay the strip into it, shortening it beforehand with scissors if needed. Keep the joints between pieces irregular and vary the density, otherwise the line looks like a carpet. Fray the ends slightly with your fingers. Mixing two shades in one line improves the result markedly.
