The three-engine veteran of eastern routes: the Tupolev Tu-154M with D-30KU-154 engines in landing configuration, 1:144 offers an opened-up wing and the shapes of the powerplants.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on set for builders who are bothered by the filled-in wing on the Tu-154 and want it in the shape people know from the threshold of the runway. It deals at the same time with the wing high-lift devices pulled out into the landing position and with the shape of the tail with the three engines of the D-30KU series.
The Tu-154 was a Soviet three-engine narrow-body airliner with the powerplants in the tail and a T-tail. It first flew at the end of the sixties and for decades formed the mainstay of long domestic routes in the Eastern Bloc and among its allies. The M version of the eighties received a more economical powerplant, a modified wing and horizontal stabilizer, which markedly lowered fuel consumption. A conspicuous feature of the type is its exceptionally rich set of high-lift devices and the landing gear retracting into fairings behind the trailing edge.
The opened-up high-lift devices reveal the inside of the wing, which on the real aircraft usually shines in a bright working color against the gray surroundings. The tracks and guide elements can take a dark shade with traces of service grime, but keep it restrained, as airline machines tended to be well maintained. The metal surfaces of the tail around the exhaust sections darkened with heat, and a dry pigment or a fine overspray suits them there.
It is an accessory without paints, without glue and without the aircraft itself.
