The Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider was the open version of the Giulia range and followed on from the earlier Giulietta Spider, from which it took its main aesthetic lines. The 1600 version received a more powerful longitudinally mounted inline four of about 1570 cc; the new engine called for a change to the front hood, which became a recognition feature. The car was built in the first half of the 1960s and is one of the classics of Italian automotive design.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, fill the joints and sand them back. Glue the glazing and the chrome trim strips carefully, so that the plastic does not fog. Paint the body in a gloss shade and polish it; the interior of an open roadster is clearly visible, so it pays to give attention to the seats, the dashboard and the steering wheel. Chrome details will bring the whole period look to life.
