Eduard – 3D-Printed Exhaust Stacks, Bf 109 G-5 / G-6, 1:24 (Airfix) replace the kit's plastic exhaust pipes. This is not an aircraft model, but a detail accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed exhaust stacks from Eduard for the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-5 / G-6 in the large 1:24 scale, intended for the plastic kit from Airfix. This is not an aircraft model or a kit – it is a detail accessory that replaces the corresponding plastic parts, and the model itself must be purchased separately.
Exhaust stacks are among the most closely watched details on any fighter aircraft: they are clearly visible, stand out sharply in color from their surroundings, and at 1:24 scale every compromise shows. Direct 3D printing allows for genuinely open pipe ends and fine shapes that injection-molded plastic cannot achieve. Per the manufacturer, the set contains 12 parts; decals, etched parts and masks are not included in the package.
For modelers building the Bf 109 G-5 or G-6 in 1:24 scale from Airfix who want to replace the plastic exhausts with a more accurate, finer part. The swap is straightforward, but it requires careful cleanup and work with cyanoacrylate glue – that is, basic experience with resin accessories.
This is a modeling accessory, not a toy. It is not intended for children under 14. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
