The real subject

The Lamborghini Countach is an iconic wedge-shaped supercar built from the 1970s. The 25th Anniversary version of the late 1980s was the last and most refined variant of the model, with a number of aerodynamic and technical changes, before the Lamborghini Diablo replaced it in 1990. The Countach became famous for its scissor doors, its twelve-cylinder engine mounted longitudinally behind the cabin and an aggressive design that became a symbol of the era.

Building and painting tips

On a car the smooth body is the key point – sand the parting lines carefully, apply a primer and put the paint on in several thin coats, ideally with an airbrush. Emphasize the glossy surface with a clear coat and polishing. The engine and the interior come out well when the details are painted separately, and keep the chrome parts covered with a mask. Apply the decals on a gloss coat so that they do not silver.
