Detail set - Porsche 917K 1:24 (Decalcas)

This is an aftermarket detail-up set, not a complete model. The set from Decalcas contains resin (3D-printed) parts that improve and complete the details of a model of the legendary racing car Porsche 917K in 1:24. It replaces or completes the simplified features of the base model with more elaborate components.

Use

  • Separate the resin parts from the casting blocks and wash any mold release residue off them.
  • Before gluing, check the fit on the model and adjust it by sanding if need be.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Paint them in the matching shades according to where they go on the car.

For advanced car modelers who want to lift a Porsche 917K model above the level of the base kit.

The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It contains neither glue nor paints nor the model of the car itself.
