The model faithfully captures the distinctive Topline cab, the detailed chassis frame, the engine, the axles and the fittings. In the box you will find parts in hard plastic, rubber tires, decals and assembly instructions. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Scania 143M was one of the mainstays of long-distance trucking from the end of the 1980s to the middle of the 1990s. It is one of the most successful models of the so-called 3-series, which Scania introduced as the successor to the innovative 2-series. The top version is powered by a V8 engine of around 500 horsepower combined with a multi-speed gearbox; the Topline cab offered long-haul drivers exceptional space and comfort.
Join the parts with a thin plastic cement. Spray the cab with an airbrush over a surfacer and cover it with a gloss coat before applying the decals. The frame, the engine and the axles deserve a clear distinction between metal and plastic parts; glue the chrome details on at the very end. Bring the chassis and the underside to life with a fine dark wash and light dust effects, so that the model looks realistic.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
