This is not an aircraft model but an accessory for the external stores. The resin set captures the BOZ-107 pod in the large 1:32 scale and belongs among the resin and plastic accessories for aircraft. It is made by Eduard, a Czech manufacturer from Obrnice near Most.
BOZ is a family of passive protection pods that carry countermeasures against guided weapons and dispense them in flight. The pod is hung on an ordinary wing hardpoint, so from the modeler's point of view it is a separate body that completes the armament fit of the machine. In the large 1:32 scale this item is clearly visible and both its accuracy of shape and its surface detail show on the finished model.
Wash the resin in lukewarm water with dish soap before building, so that the mold release agent disappears and the paint holds. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and sand the area wet with respiratory protection. The pod is a fairly large body, so give attention to lining it up: a dry fit on the pylon before gluing helps. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue; plastic cement does not work here. Apply a primer before painting and paint the pod separately from the model, gluing it to the pylon only once it has been varnished.
