The set holds a turned barrel of the MG 151 cannon, a FuG 25a antenna and a pitot tube. The metal parts replace the coarser plastic features and give a model a fine, scale-faithful look. The Dornier Do 335 A, nicknamed Pfeil, meaning arrow, was a German heavy fighter from the end of the Second World War with an unusual layout of two engines in tandem, with a tractor and a pusher propeller. It was among the fastest piston machines of its day and carried a strong armament.
Separate the fine metal parts carefully, degrease them and give them a primer. Fit the barrel and the pitot tube only at the end of the build, so that they are not damaged. The metal features suit being matched to steel shades and brought up with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
