F/A-18C painting mask in 1:32 scale (Reskit)

This is a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks from Reskit for models of the carrier-based F/A-18C Hornet multirole fighter in 1:32 scale. It is neither a kit nor parts of a model but an aid for painting: the templates cover the cockpit glazing and define the areas to be sprayed, so that you achieve sharp edges without the laborious taping over. The cut is worked out for the Kinetic and Academy kits.

Use

• You stick the pre-cut templates onto the glazing before spraying, so that the canopy frame gains sharp, clean lines.
• Further templates define the areas of the camouflage scheme and the small markings.
• Apply them onto a smooth, perfectly dry base and spray the paint in thin coats.
• Take the mask off soon after spraying, before the paint has fully cured, so that it does not tear the edge.

Who it is for

For aircraft modelers who want to speed the masking of glazing up and achieve clean lines. A matching base model in the same scale is assumed.

This is an accessory for painting, not a model. Paints, varnish and the kit are not included in the package.
