A pre-painted 3D detail set of the instrument panels from Red Fox Studio, intended for a model of the carrier fighter F-14A Tomcat in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory which replaces or improves the instrument panels of the pilot and of the weapon systems officer. In the large 1:32 scale the rich plastic relief and the pre-painted dials stand out.
The F-14A Tomcat is an American two-seat carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing. It made its name with long-range guided missiles and in the role of defender of the aircraft carrier formations. In service with the Navy it lasted from the 1970s until the beginning of the 21st century.
Separate the parts carefully from the carrier backing and glue them with super glue in the place of the original instrument panels. Painting is not necessary; the detail can be brought out with a thin wash. Adapt the mounting to the particular kit for which the set is designed.
It is an accessory for the cockpit, not a model of the aircraft. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
