Colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio that imitate the quick-release fasteners, the snap-fasteners, on the engine cowlings of German aircraft of the Second World War in 1:32 scale. They are not photo-etch and not resin but raised decals printed on a flexible film, which give the surface of the cowling a three-dimensional, realistic look of the fasteners. They have no adhesive layer of their own: the element is released from the backing paper with a brief dip in lukewarm water and slid onto a gloss clear coat.
