The real subject

The Dassault Mirage 2000-5 is an upgraded multirole version of the French delta-wing fighter. Against the older single-role 2000C it received a more capable radar and a so-called glass cockpit - the classic dials gave way to multifunction displays. The differently arranged instrument panel is the main distinction: if you are building the 2000-5, reach for this 3D decal and not for the set made for the 2000C version.

Application

• First sand the plastic cockpit parts smooth - the 3D decal is applied directly onto them.
• Cut the element out, soak it briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the carrier paper into place. Do not use a decal softener, it would attack the printed resin.
• Press it down gently so the relief beds into the surface; in this large scale the detail stands out especially well.
• The work suits more advanced modelers.
