Resin figures of Mirage 2000B/D/N pilots in 1:32 scale from Reskit: two 3D-printed figures sitting in an ejection seat, an accessory to an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two 3D-printed resin figures of French pilots for the Dassault Mirage 2000 (versions B, D and N) in 1:32 scale from Reskit. The figures are modeled sitting in a Martin-Baker Mk.10Q ejection seat. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for filling the cockpit; a donor Mirage 2000 kit is needed for the build.
A crew in the cockpit brings a large model in 1:32 scale to life and gives it scale and a story. The seated pose in the ejection seat matches the real position of a pilot in the cockpit and suits a model on an airfield as well as in a display case.
Wash the resin residue off the 3D-printed parts, cut away the print supports and sand with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay on a primer before painting; paint the figures with acrylics, working through the helmet, the oxygen mask, the flight suit and the harness straps. Bring out the face and the folds of the clothing with glazes and a dry-brush.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin accessory. It calls for a donor kit; glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
