1:32 Republic F-105D Thunderchief access ladder is an accessory representing the boarding ladder for the single-seat version of the Thunderchief.

The accessory deals with an element that is often forgotten in a build, although a model standing on the ground reads as unfinished without it. The ladder leans against the side of the fuselage and leads to an open cockpit; only with it does a scene on the ramp get the right slope and a foothold for the scale.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was a heavy supersonic attack aircraft that carried the main weight of strike tasks over North Vietnam. The single-seat D version differs from the two-seat F and G series machines in the layout of the cockpit, and hence in the shape and length of the boarding route. That is exactly why the ladder for the single-seat version is a separate item and should not be confused with the set for the two-seat machines.
Mark the point where it meets the fuselage and try it dry, so the ladder does not stand crooked. Thin rungs will take only a minimum of glue, or unsightly blobs will form. In color, keep to a metal or a light service shade with pronounced wear on the steps. When you add a figure to the model, the scene gains action at once. Settle in advance whether the composition will carry a raised cockpit canopy, because without it this element loses its point.
