This set from Mantis Miniatures contains resin stamps with the relief of animal paws in 1:35 scale. It is neither a model nor a figure but an aid for completing terrain: the prints are pressed into a fresh modeling base and create faithful animal tracks in it.
Press the stamp into terrain material that is still soft, whether modeling putty, filler, plaster or clay. A paw print is created, which once dry you paint and weather just like the surrounding ground. Animal tracks give a scene life and the impression that somebody passed through the space. For a clean print, coat the stamp lightly with a release agent or dampen it.
Wash the stamps in lukewarm soapy water before first use. Work with the base while it is still pliable; smooth the excess material around a print away. The resin stamps are reusable, so clean them after work, so that material does not dry in the relief.
It is supplied without paints and modeling putty; these are not included in the package.
