About product

Copper kettle 1:35, 2 pieces (Panzerkraft)

This is a small resin detail accessory, not a kit. The package from Panzerkraft holds two copper kettles cast in resin in 1:35 scale. Vessels like these appeared as part of the field kit on German Panzer III tanks and around camps in the Second World War period.

What the set is for

The kettles will serve as part of the stowage on armored vehicles or as a stand-alone element of a diorama that gives a scene a lived-in, everyday character.

Usage tips

Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut them from the casting blocks. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For a faithful copper look we recommend a metallic base with a toning varnish and a suggestion of patina and soot.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers and diorama builders in 1:35 scale
  • Anyone interested in the period field kit of vehicles
  • Collectors of small realistic accessories

This is an accessory. It holds no vehicle model, glue or paints.
