Injection-molded plastic kit of the American FAV (Fast Attack Vehicle), also known as the Desert Patrol Vehicle. The modern tooling brings a detailed tube frame, rubber tires, a clear part, photo-etched parts and decals. The open structure of the vehicle lets the details stand out and offers a rewarding build as well as a backdrop for figures.
The FAV is an American light off-road vehicle that entered service in the early 1990s. It was developed and built by Chenowth as a fast and agile machine for desert terrain, armed with machine guns. The vehicles played a notable part during Operation Desert Storm; US Navy personnel used them on desert patrols as well.
Assemble the tube frame carefully and let it dry thoroughly before you attach the drivetrain and the armament. Paint the interior and the frame before final assembly, because they are harder to reach once everything is together. Sand shades suit a desert deployment; dry pigments and dusty washes will give the vehicle convincing weathering from the field.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
