A set of plastic figures, Modern US Army - CH-47D crew and infantry, in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. Figures of the present-day American army for dioramas with the Chinook helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of plastic figures in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter depicts five figures of the present-day American army. It combines the flight crew of the CH-47D Chinook helicopter with disembarked infantry, so the figures can be used both with a model of the helicopter and with a ground diorama. The figures are rendered in action poses, among them a soldier carrying a wounded comrade. A range of separate equipment and weapons is included.
The five figures cover two roles: the pilots of the helicopter and infantry in the field. The equipment and uniforms match the modern American army, which is a rewarding and less usual subject compared with the classic figures of the Second World War. The action poses give a scene momentum and tell the story of a landing or an evacuation.
Glue the figures, clean up the mold seams and add the separate equipment and weapons according to the instructions. Apply a primer and build the paint up from a darker base. Paint modern camouflage patterns patiently in layers; a wash in the folds and drybrushing on the edges will help. Build the faces up with fine transitions. Before you finally set them into a scene, dry-fit the poses against the helicopter or the terrain.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the helicopter are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
