Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Raupenschlepper Ost tracked tractor, the RSO/01 version of late production, in 1:35 scale from the maker MiniArt. The richly broken-up model with fine surface detail holds photo-etched parts, clear parts and hatches buildable open or closed; it offers markings for four variants. The late version has an all-metal cab and a reworked canvas-covered body, which can be built covered or open.
RSO stands for Raupenschlepper Ost, meaning tracked tractor East. The vehicle came about for use on the Eastern Front, where wheeled equipment got stuck in deep mud and snow. The RSO proved itself in supplying units and towing light guns in extreme conditions; its simple, tough tracked design made it an important helper of the German units.
Finish and paint the cab and the interior before closing it up. Assemble and paint the tracked running gear separately. Apply primer and spray with an airbrush; the typical look of a tractor from the Eastern Front is created with muddy effects, that is washes and dust and earth pigments on the running gear and the underside of the body. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
