Responsibility details are not available.
This product is a small model of the Czechoslovak infantry blockhouse designated MJ-S 29 Svah, meaning slope, in 1:1000 scale from the association ROP o.s. It is a miniature of a work of the heavy border fortification, intended for collectors and admirers of Czechoslovak fortification. Thanks to the small scale it is a compact model suited to a display cabinet or to a model of a defense line.
Infantry blockhouses were the backbone of the Czechoslovak heavy fortification built in the second half of the 1930s to defend the border. They were massive reinforced concrete works with a garrison, fortress armament and a carefully thought-out system of defense. The works carried a section designation (for example MJ-S) and their own code names taken from the terrain or the surroundings.
When working at such a small scale, tweezers, good lighting and patience all help. Apply the paint in thin coats; a concrete look is reinforced by gray tones and fine weathering with a wash, which brings out the edges and the recesses.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, unless stated otherwise. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
