A set of late-type workable (link) tracks for the German Sd.Kfz.251 and Sd.Kfz.11 halftrack vehicles in 1:35 scale from AFV Club.

This is an accessory, not a model in itself. The set contains individual links of the late (simplified) design with which you replace the tracks from the box on models of the German Sd.Kfz.251 and Sd.Kfz.11 halftrack vehicles. The links are assembled one by one and stay movable.
The late type of track matches the machines of the later part of the war, with links of a simplified, material-saving shape. Replacing the soft track from the box markedly raises the fidelity of the running gear, which is very much on show on a halftrack.
Clean the flash off the links and glue them with thin plastic cement; leave the joints free so that the track wraps around the drive sprocket and the rollers. Paint them dark steel or gray, rub the contact surfaces with graphite and add dust and mud with pigments to match the scene.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
