A 3D-printed resin main rotor head (unfolded rotor) for the SH-60B/F, HH-60H, MH-60R/S in 1:35 scale by Reskit. A rotor in the flight position for Sea Hawk kits — it is not a model of the helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed 3D-printed resin rotor set, not a model of the helicopter. The set replaces the main rotor of the carrier-based Sea Hawk family (SH-60B, SH-60F, HH-60H, MH-60R, MH-60S) in 1:35 scale. It is the unfolded version — the blades are spread into a star in the normal flight position, unlike the folded variant with the blades swung back for the deck. 3D printing captures the fine detail of the head, the pitch links and the hinges better than a plastic molding. It is made by the Ukrainian firm Reskit.
Apply a primer, then the paint. Paint the head in a dark metallic tone and the blades after the subject, with warning stripes on the tips. A wash brings out the mechanism and a drybrush picks out the edges.
For modelers building the Sea Hawk in 1:35 scale (typically Kitty Hawk or Academy) who want a rotor in the flight position at collector level. Working with 3D-printed resin assumes experience.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package. Use a respirator and ventilate when sanding resin.
