A set of turned brass barrels for the Admiral Graf Spee (1:350, Aber) for models of the German pocket battleship. A metal detail accessory replacing the plastic barrels of the gun armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish maker Aber contains turned brass barrels of the gun armament in 1:350 scale for models of the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee (the Deutschland class). It is not a ship model but an accurate metal accessory that replaces the plastic barrels and gives the guns a crisp, faithful profile.
The Admiral Graf Spee was one of the so-called pocket battleships (Panzerschiffe) of the Deutschland class. Its main armament consisted of six 283 mm guns in two triple turrets, supplemented by a 150 mm secondary battery. The ship became famous for its cruise in the South Atlantic and for the battle at the mouth of the River Plate in 1939.
You carefully cut the plastic barrels off and replace them with the brass ones. Glue the metal with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and degrease the joint beforehand. A primer coat and a gray shade matching German naval camouflage are recommended.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in itself. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
