A set of four resin (3D-printed) AIM-7M Sparrow III air-to-air missiles in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for loading the pylons and stations of a model with realistic armament.
The AIM-7M is a late version of the American semi-active radar-guided medium-range air-to-air missile. It brought a monopulse seeker with better resistance to jamming and the ability to engage targets flying lower. It was in service from the 1980s on aircraft such as the F-14 Tomcat, the F-15 Eagle, the F-16 and the F/A-18.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, separate them from the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply primer before painting and lay the low-visibility shades down with an airbrush. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
