A detailed engine exhaust nozzle made by direct 3D printing in resin from Reskit, intended for a model of the American fighter Lockheed F-104 Starfighter (the A, C, D, J and G versions) in 1:48 scale. This variant is designed for the kits from Kinetic and Eduard. It is a resin replacement for the rear end for more experienced modelers, not an airplane model on its own.
The F-104 Starfighter was powered by a General Electric J79 turbojet with afterburning. A faithfully made exhaust nozzle with its movable petals is a prominent visual element of the rear of the aircraft and gives a model a realistic finishing touch.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut off the printing blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The inside of the nozzle comes to life with layering of metal and heat-stained shades and a fine wash.
This is a resin accessory. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
