A nozzle for the late Starfighters from the Reskit brand replaces the plastic part on a model in 1:48 scale. The casting covers the versions designated in the name as the S and the late G. The set is cut for the Hasegawa kits and for their reboxings issued by Eduard; a sister item of the same line aims at the Kinetic kit, so what decides the choice is which base you have at home.
The Lockheed F-104 arose as a light interceptor with an extraordinary rate of climb. Its thin trapezoidal wing had such a sharp leading edge that on the ground it was covered with guards. It was powered by a single jet engine of the J79 line with an afterburner. The S version was of Italian production, capable of carrying medium range guided missiles, and it served until 2004, which made it the longest serving member of the family.
The part is settled into the rear part of the fuselage, so first check the depth of the seating dry and fix it only then. A surface rid of release agent will take paint without difficulty. Inside the nozzle a graphite shade complemented by light accentuation of the edges works well, whereas on the outside lighter scorched tones do.
The package consists of a replacement part for a kit already obtained, and a complete aircraft is not to be looked for in it.
