This set is NOT an aircraft model but a 3D-printed accessory for a plastic kit of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale. It holds a pair of underwing drop tanks of 370 gallons in the late form (the Royal Jet type) together with their pylons. The set is meant for experienced modelers.
The underwing 370-gallon tanks were part of the typical fit of Phantoms in combat and training service alike, and they shape the look of the stores fundamentally. The late Royal Jet form differs in small shapes from the early tanks; accurate 3D printing catches even the fine detail of the surface and the attachment points, which tends to be simplified in plastic.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut away the print supports and join them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand down any marks left by the printing, with respiratory protection. Check how the pylons fit the wing of your particular kit before gluing.
This is an accessory to a kit, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
