1:32 F-4 Phantom II late 370 gallon fuel tanks (Royal Jet) with pylons (2 pcs) is an add-on set of two late-pattern drop tanks including their pylons for a Phantom model in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is an accessory to the stores of a model, not an aircraft kit. According to the name it holds two underwing drop tanks of 370 gallons in the late pattern from the maker Royal Jet, pylons included. You will use it on a part-built model of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II in the large 1:32 scale, whether you want to replace the tanks from the kit or fit the model out for a long-range configuration.
The F-4 Phantom II was a twin-engine two-seat combat aircraft originally developed for the US Navy, which spread to a number of further operators and served for decades in roles from fighter to strike. Its standard fit included drop tanks under the wing, which markedly extended the aircraft's range, and both their shape and their attachment changed during production. The difference between the early and the later patterns shows up well on a model precisely in 1:32 scale.
Test-fit the tanks and the pylons dry first and check the angle at which they hang under the wing; a pair fitted unevenly ruins the impression the whole model makes. Bring out the panel and assembly lines only after the main shade has gone on, because they show up best on a smooth surface. In service the tanks tend to be dirty in a different way from the airframe, so weathering them lightly and separately looks more convincing. Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) works well for the joint to the plastic wing; wear respiratory protection while sanding.
