Firestreak 1:48 is a 3D-printed resin set of precisely made missiles (2 pcs) to replace the plastic parts from a boxed kit.

A set of precisely made resin Firestreak missiles (2 pcs) from Reskit in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified plastic missiles from a boxed kit with a truer copy with sharp edges and fine surface detail.
The Firestreak is an early British infrared short-range missile from the end of the 1950s, one of the first in the Royal Air Force. It is a rear-aspect weapon: it homes on the heat of the target's exhaust and attacks from behind. It was carried by the Lightning, the Sea Vixen and the Gloster Javelin.
This is a 3D-printed resin set for experienced modelers. First wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them from the print supports and sand the surfaces down; protect your airways when sanding resin. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with ordinary plastic cement. Apply a primer before painting; the missiles are sprayed with an airbrush and finished with the color markings of the particular service use.
The set is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
