This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a model. The set contains parts of thin brass sheet meant for models of the German Panther Ausf.G (Sd.Kfz.171) medium tank in 1:48 scale. The set adds fine elements that cannot be molded faithfully in plastic.
The Panther Ausf.G was the most widespread version of the Panther tank in the later part of the war. The photo-etched parts replace and supplement thin-walled elements such as covers, brackets, eyes, clasps and tool mounts, which give the model a finer and more convincing look. The detailing can be rounded out with a separate set of side skirts from the same line.
Cut the parts from the fret, make the bends over a bending tool or a metal rule and fix them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and cover it with primer. The work calls for tweezers and experience with photo-etch.
The accessory does not contain the tank model itself, paints or glue. It serves only for detailing a kit.
