A universal set from 1 Man Army in 1:48 scale for spraying British roundels onto a model of the Hawker Hurricane fighter in the Mk.I, Mk.IIb and Mk.IIc versions. The masks are laser cut from a fine masking film, which gives exceptionally sharp edges and faithful detail even in this scale. The set is generic, designed for Hurricane models from several manufacturers. It is not decals and not a paint but an aid for precise masking of the insignia. It is based on the dimensions of Airfix, Arma Hobby, Hasegawa or Hobby Boss kits.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-engine fighter which together with the Spitfire bore the main weight of the Battle of Britain. Its robust structure with a tube frame allowed easy repairs; the Mk.IIc version carried an armament of four cannons.
The multi-part roundel masks allow the individual concentric colors to be sprayed one after another onto dried coats. Press the edges down carefully so that the paint cannot creep under them, and spray thinly. Once the paint has dried, remove the masks carefully.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
