Headlight guards for the Sherman (1:48), a Firma49 resin accessory

A set of resin headlight guards made by SLA 3D printing for models of the American M4 Sherman tank in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. It is not a model of a tank but a detailing accessory that replaces coarser or simplified parts from the base kit and raises the fidelity of the front of the hull.

Use

The parts have thin walls and a fine mesh, so handle them carefully. Before gluing, wash the print resin residue off them, separate them from the print supports and attach them with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with respiratory protection. They can be painted together with the model and picked out with a wash for the effect of metal and grime.
