A detailed wheel set for models of the American Lockheed F-104 fighter in the A, B, C and D versions in 1:48 scale from Reskit. This is not an airplane kit but a separate accessory that replaces the wheels from an ordinary kit with more faithful parts in cast resin and 3D printing, with fine relief of the tread.
The F-104 Starfighter is an American single-engine supersonic fighter with extremely thin, short wings and a slender fuselage, which entered service at the end of the 1950s. The A and C versions are single-seat forms, while B and D are two-seat trainer variants. The machine became famous for its high speed and its steep climb.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Shade the tires a flat black-gray and the rims with metallic shades. Sand with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The airplane kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
