1:48 Mask TF-104G,F-104D/DJ ADVANCED (HAS)

New Ware ADVANCED masking set — TF-104G, F-104D/DJ (1:48)

A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape from the Czech maker New Ware for a model of the two-seat versions of the supersonic Starfighter — the TF-104G and the F-104D/DJ — in 1:48 scale. The ADVANCED grade means extended coverage beyond the basic set. It is not a kit and not a paint.

The real subject

The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was an American supersonic fighter of the 1950s and 1960s with a characteristically slender fuselage and short straight wings. The two-seat TF-104G and F-104D/DJ versions served for training and had a tandem cockpit.

Use

• Lay the masks on the glazing of the tandem canopy along the frames.
• The ADVANCED set additionally contains wheel masks and other parts beyond the basic version.
• Spray thin coats and lift the mask off while the paint is still tacky.
• Kabuki tape follows curved shapes well and leaves no adhesive residue.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want sharp canopy frames on a two-seat Starfighter as well as cleanly painted wheels and details, without taping up by hand.

It is not a model and not a paint. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
