This is a set of soft foam plugs shaped to the landing gear bays of the model of the Soviet, or rather Russian, MiG-29 fighter in 1:48 scale. The plugs are inserted into the open bays before spraying, so that neither paint nor primer clogs their interior and their fine detail. The plugs are shaped for the MiG-29 kits from Academy and Hobby 2000.

Use

• Push the plug into the bay before the primer or the paint goes on.
• The soft foam follows the shape of the bay and holds without glue.
• Once the paint has dried you simply take the plug out.
• Usable again and again throughout the build.

Who it is for

Modelers who want to separate the outside of a model cleanly from the landing gear bays and to avoid laborious masking with tape will appreciate them. The plugs do not replace painting the bays; they only protect them while the surrounding surfaces are being sprayed.

An accessory for plastic models. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
