By replacing the original plastic part you gain the correct geometry of the forward section and a better run into the fuselage. The set is intended for modelers who want to push the detail of their Mirage 2000-5 above the level of the contents of the box.
Before gluing, wash the part in lukewarm water with dish soap and rid it of the remains of the printing supports. Use super glue for the assembly. Once any seams have been filled, the part is ready for spraying with paint.
