A resin accessory from Reskit in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a set of precisely cast replacement landing gear wheels for the Japanese Mitsubishi F-2 multirole fighter in the F-2A and F-2B versions. The set is meant for the plastic F-2 kit in this scale from Hasegawa.
The replacement wheels have a sharper tire tread and finer hub detail than the parts from the box. The tires tend to be cast with a suggestion of flattening at the contact patch, so that once the model is set on its landing gear it looks realistically weighted.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces gently with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the hubs and the tires before the final fitting onto the landing gear legs. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers.
The set holds resin wheels. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
