The first part of a set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from DK Decals devoted to the Spitfires of No. 313 Czechoslovak fighter squadron of the Royal Air Force. The sheet lets you finish Spitfire fighter models with the period markings of this unit. It is not a kit: the decals serve to finish a model obtained separately.
No. 313 Squadron was one of the fighter squadrons made up of Czechoslovak airmen who went on fighting in Great Britain after 1939. It flew Spitfires on operations over the English Channel and western Europe. The markings of its aircraft are a rewarding subject thanks to their link with Czechoslovak aviation history.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish and use a decal softener and fixer so that they settle onto broken-up surfaces. Once dry, overcoat with a matte or satin varnish so that the markings blend into the surface of the model.
The package contains decals only. The model itself, paints and varnish are not included.
